November is National Diabetes Month:American Diabetes Month and Canadian Diabetes Awareness.
The World Health Organization has said that Diabeteswill double over the next 30 years because of increasingly unhealthy diets and less exercise.
The agency estimates the number of cases in the developing world will increase from 115 million in 2000 to 284 million in 2030.
All of us know or have relatives and friends with this very severe disease, besides that nobody is free of suffering it one day (even if we don't have it inside our families),I can say I have a few relatives that have gotten Diabetes due to hormonal changes and big scares like car crashes or also due to depressions,I am still unsure why they got it,although doctors have said about my relatives that it was caused by the way their bodies responded to some issues/problems,and/or depressions, and now that my sister in law is pregnant and as her pregnancy advances, her Doctor has told her she is in high risk of suffering diabetes and she even could transmit it to her baby,so all our family is worried.
I feel I must learn more and also that is why I am trying to help all people that need some extra info, below you'll find resources about Diabetes, please if you suffer it or if you know someone be helpful to him/her and give her/him support.
